Matthew D. Crago, DO
Matthew D. Crago, DO was raised in the Shenango Valley and is a graduate of Kennedy Catholic High School. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biopsychology from Oberlin College and is a 1997 graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. After completing his Internship and Residencies at Frankford Hospital Systems, Philadelphia, PA, where he was the recipient of the “Intern of the Year” Award in 1998, he returned to the Shenango Valley in June 2000, joining the former practice of Drs. Samuel Woodings and K. Donald Stoudt. After the retirement of Dr. Woodings, Dr. Crago along with Dr. Stoudt continued to practice together and formed Sharon Family Medicine.
In July of 2004, Dr. Crago began his private practice, Crago Family Medicine, PC. Dr. Crago is on the Medical Staff of Sharon Regional Health System and UPMC Horizon, Farrell Campus. Dr. Crago is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and is also a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society, Mercer County Medical Society, American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Physicians, and the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Association. He and his wife, Morny and their children Colin and Erin live in Sharon. Dr. Crago enjoys spending time with his family, attending Scrappers games, kayaking and taking care of his Bulldog, Dottie.
Rhiannon M. Hill, CRNP
Rhiannon M. Hill was raised on her family farm in a rural area near New Castle, PA. She is a 2001 diploma graduate from the former St. Francis Hospital where she was the recipient of The Paul Lynch Scholarship and The Fred Bruno Award.
She received her undergraduate BSN degree from Waynesburg University in 2007. While continuing her education, she worked at Sharon Regional Hospital. Rhiannon has 15 years experience as a registered nurse working in the telemetry, critical care, and trauma units. She was also a charge nurse at Sharon Regional and the ICU/CCU interim nurse manager in 2013-2014. In 2014, she completed her geriatrics internship here, with Dr. Crago, at Crago Family Medicine, while attending her master’s program. In 2015, she received her graduate degree from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, PA with a Master’s of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner.
She is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with experience caring for patients across the lifespan, and is pleased to join Crago Family Medicine. She is married to the love of her life, Shawn. They reside with their 3 daughters, Rian, Maelee, and Harley on her family farm where they continue to carry on the tradition of farming with the help of Lily, a Border Collie mix and Piper, the Pomsky. In her free time, she enjoys biking, swimming, gardening, and any chance to go camping with her family.
Debbie Cross, Office Manager
Debbie, our Office Manager, joined Crago Family Medicine in November 2006, and brings over 30 years of experience as a Medical Office Manager to our practice. Debbie was born and raised in Sharon and is a 1976 graduate of Sharon High School. She was the recipient of a full-tuition scholarship, the Deborah Hope Gale Memorial Scholarship to attend Median School of Allied Health Careers, Pittsburgh, PA. She and her husband, Gregory and their Miniature Schnauzers, Sasha and Vladi, reside in Sharon. Debbie enjoys cooking, baking, interior design, gardening and traveling anywhere warm.
Cheryl Patterson, RN
Cheryl, our Registered Nurse brings over 40 years of nursing experience to our practice. She is a lifelong resident of the Shenango Valley and a graduate Jameson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. After her graduation, she was employed by Sharon General Hospital. After the birth of her two children, Debbie and Brian, she accepted a position as a Registered Nurse at the former practice of Drs. Samuel Woodings and K. Donald Stoudt. Cheryl continued to work with the practice of Sharon Family Medicine before joining Dr. Crago in his private practice. Cheryl and her husband, Ron live in Sharpsville and enjoy spending time with their granddaughter, Elizabeth, in Indianapolis, shopping for bargains and gambling – playing slot machines.
Aimee Zrile, RN
Aimee, our Registered Nurse is a lifelong resident of the Shenango Valley and is a graduate of Kennedy Christian High School and Jameson Memorial School of Nursing. Aimee brings over 30 years of clinical nursing experience to our Practice including working in the Endoscopy/Out-Patient Surgical Unit of Sharon Regional Health System, private practice nursing for an Internist in addition to working in a skilled nursing facility at Nugent’s Convalescent Home. Aimee resides in West Middlesex with her two children, Michael and Martina and enjoys shopping, baking, cooking, reading and spending time with family.
Jennifer Kollar, CMA
Jennifer, our Certified Medical Assistant, was born and raised in the Shenango Valley and then moved and graduated from Hudson High School, Hudson, OH. She graduated from the National Institute of Technology in Cuyahoga Falls, in 2001, as a Certified Medical Assistant.
After working in clinical and administrative positions in the Akron, OH and Vienna, OH area she returned to the Shenango Valley to be with her family. Jennifer brings over 15 years of experience to our Practice after working in medical offices locally, including oral-facial surgery and family medicine.
Jennifer and her husband, Jeff, live in Sharon with their daughter Breah, and seven sons, Ibrahm, Lassana, Fousseini ,Bakary, Sagaba, Marcin, Mohamed and their Chocolate Lab, Mati. In her spare time Jennifer enjoys shopping, traveling and spending time with family.
Suzzanne, our Certified Medical Assistant, is a lifelong resident of New Castle, being born and raised as a country girl on her family farm, and is a graduate of Laurel High School.
She brings experience from many public settings to our practice, most of these being part time while raising her three children Anthony, Alyssa and Alexis. Once her children were grown, Suzzanne attended Butler Community College, where she graduated as a Certified Medical Assistant. As a Certified Medical Assistant, Suzzanne brings 7 years experience to our practice, previously working in New Castle at a Cardiology practice, a position she obtained immediately upon graduation.
Suzzanne loves spending time with family, friends and her pets. In her spare time she enjoys shopping, concerts, landscaping and staying active.
Andrea Cummings, Front Office Assistant
Andrea, one of our Front Office Assistants, is a 1985 graduate of Struthers High School, Struthers, Ohio. Andrea brings previous experience working in a medical office to our practice. She was employed as a receptionist in an OB-GYN practice in Youngstown, Ohio and with SRHS Physician Services, Sharon, PA before joining Dr. Crago in his private practice. Andrea is also a graduate of Ohio College of Massotherapies’ and previously worked as a Massage Therapist. Andrea and her husband, John live in Lowellville, Ohio along with their dogs Shadow & Mac. She enjoys playing with her dogs, reading and cooking.
Marina Parker, Front Office Assistant
Marina, one of our Front Office Assistants, is a lifelong resident of Sharon and is a 1971 graduate of Sharon High School. Marina brings a variety of work experience to our practice. She was previously employed by Beitler McKee Optical as an Optical Tech, Greenwood Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Tech and SRHS Physician Services as a Front Office Assistant before joining Dr. Crago when he began his Private Practice. Marina and her husband, Curt, have two children Shanna and Patrick and enjoy spending time with their grandboys, Brendon, Jason & Logan, reading and NASCAR.
Jean Burke, Special Projects Coordinator
Jean, our Special Projects Coordinator, who also fills in at our front desk, is a lifelong resident of Sharon and graduated from Sharon High School in 1959. Jean worked as a Medical Assistant in the Family Practice of Drs. William McDowell and Thomas Armour before moving on to Sharon General Hospital, now Sharon Regional Health System, in 1980 as the Quality Assurance Secretary. In 1990, she was appointed to the position of Medical Staff Coordinator and continued in that position until her retirement in August of 2007. Jean is a widow with six children, Tom, Judy, Janice, Sean, Jean and Scott. She also has fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cross stitching and the beach.
Dottie Crago, Emotional Support Specialist
Dottie, Dr. Crago’s English Bulldog, is our Emotional Support Specialist. Dottie brings years of experience to our practice making people happy with her loving, carefree attitude. She can be found in our office on Thursday’s bringing smiles to our patients both young and old. Dottie loves to have her chin and ears rubbed, special treats from the staff and visiting with everybody. In her spare time, Dottie enjoys napping and playing with her blue squeaky ball.
